First single by 1980s Brisbane (Australia) band Solid Citizens. Recorded at the UK Manor Studios in 1984 by Mike Shipley (The Cars, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Nickleback, Shania Twain, Joni Mitchell, Green Day etc) and Mark Goldenberg (Pointer Sisters, Chicago) and released on Roxy/RCA Records. Solid Citizens were Mick Walker and Glen Muirhead. “Singing in the Shower” was written by Walker, Muirhead, John Barnes and published by Gilbey/MCA. The song was a minor hit in Australia, although in Bathurst, it entered the charts at #1 knocking off Michael Jackson’s current national one hit.

Yes, Indecent Obsession formed in Brisbane. Molly Meldrum groomed them into a commercially successful boy band back in 1989. The band took their success to South Africa where they became chart toppers in the early 90s. This is a horribly commercial track with a nauseating keyboard line.
